It is important to the WellStar Cancer Program and its physicians that we have services to help patients and their families cope with the day-to-day details that go with a diagnosis of cancer. We want to provide not only the best medical care, but we want to also help patients and their families with their emotional, physical, financial and other needs that they might encounter during their cancer journey.

WellStar tries to provide as many services as possible in our own facilities so that patients and families do not need to go outside the System. However, there are some services that are best done by experts in fields other than health care.

It is also important to us that we help people stay well. We have many opportunities for wellness education and activities here at WellStar.
